london

okkkaayyy, so once the dancing was done (phew) we woke up early and hopped onto a bus to Chatsworth house. we got a private tour, but I would have preferred to go through it slowly and read the plaques and enjoy the scenery. Its okay, I got to see a narwhale tusk and huge foot statue. It was a nice tour, however I did bleed through my pants, and BAD.

my lesbian statues

The grounds were beautiful though. it was rainy, but that almost made it more magical, a fairy garden with statues and a hedge maze.

Once I got a change of pants (courtesy of will) we headed onwards to london. Horrible traffic meant we didn't get there until the evening, and then we hurried into our insane and tiny hotel. 8 girls in full size bunk beds. Not great.

Before heading to bed, will, parker, kyle and I grabbed some Lebanese street food and explored. We were right next to SoHo and the west end. So there were plenty of cute restaurants, bars, and a million show posters.

The next day we got pastries, hopped on the bus with the team and looked at london. We got off, took one group photo and were off on an adventure. We saw tower bridge, the tower of london, Westminster, st pauls cathedral, and a million other amazing things. We grabbed lunch, and walked to the warhammer store (request of will and the boys) before shopping for a bit, grabbing ice cream. resting up, hitting a pub and then hitting the clubs.

I am unfortunately a very vocal and touchy drunk. That's fine, I looked hot and we had a blast dancing all night.

The next morning Will and I spent 2 hours walking around london trying to find a place to do laundry. It was a sunday so nothing was open, and google maps was navigating us to the middle of intersections and claiming the laundromats were there. Unsuccessful, we grabbed the boys and headed to Kensington gardens.

I had 2 wishes for the day, Kensington Gardens and Indian food in the evening. They were both fulfilled, but I felt like a mom most of the time. We did paddle boats in Kensington :) and then hopped on the bus to see the museums and Kensington palace. Absolutely starving we hopped into a pub then walked over and caught the last boat tour. I was hungry and tired walking back, and did have a melt down.

also i got sudafed when I was there

You see, I had been thinking about going to Starlight Express, this insane musical about trains where everyone wears roller skates. They are doing it in London. I almost bought tickets when we were in the lake district, but my internet was do bad I didn't. By the time we got to london it was too late to book them. I felt like I wasted my time in london. I really didn't, it was very fun, and I learned more about myself.

We grabbed the boys and headed to get indian food. Holy cow it was delicious (expensive, but delicious).

Once we got back to the hotel, I book at uber to the london city airport for 3:30 am the next day, and we were off!
